As an experienced educator, writer, researcher, and speaker, I believe that learning beyond the classroom is required for the comprehensive development of students. To enhance their learning experience, I actively engage my students in diverse activities such as writing, drawing, publishing, participating in extension programs, and organising field trips.
In 2012, I completed a UGC minor project titled Swathanthrathinte prathinidhanam Malayalathile Sthree kavithakalil. This project allowed me to delve into the representation of female poets in Malayalam literature, thereby making a significant contribution to the field.
Recognising my commitment to academic advancement, I was granted a UB Fellowship in 2014. This prestigious fellowship offered me the invaluable opportunity to receive administrative training in four esteemed international universities. This experience broadened my perspective, and I gained a deeper understanding of diverse cultures.
With over 25 years of teaching experience at Union Christian College, I have realised that teaching is not just a profession but my true passion. I have also edited five books and published more than 75 articles and book reviews in various journals, books and popular magazines.
